On August 29, Rosewood Hong Kong hosted the Female Entrepreneurs Worldwide (FEW) Family Office Forum, co-organised with Future One Mena

On August 29, The Family Office Forum brought together family offices, entrepreneurs and business leaders for a day of meaningful discussions on topics central to the evolving landscape of wealth management, business succession and investment strategy. Held at the Rosewood Hong Kong,  the programme commenced with opening remarks from Anna Wong, founder of FEW, and Anina Ho, founder of Web3 and AI company Future One Mena (FOM). Their addresses set the tone for the day, emphasising the importance of equipping family offices with innovative tools and strategies to address generational transitions and global market challenges.

Moses Tsang, founding shareholder of FEW and chairman of AP Capital Holdings, lent further gravitas to the opening session with his reflections on investing with purpose. “I used to ask myself: what kind of investor do I want to be? The answer was clear: investing should never be just about financial return; it should serve a purpose,” he said. “At the end of the day, great ideas don’t build great companies, great people do. When you find teams that combine purpose, integrity, deep domain knowledge and collaboration, that’s when investments create not only returns, but lasting impact”.

Wong moderated the morning’s central panel discussion, which focused on family succession planning, featuring Richie Eu, managing director of mergers and acquisitions at Traditional Chinese Medicine company Eu Yan Sang, and Joud Aboud, executive vice president of strategy at the Ghassan Aboud Group, one of the largest conglomerates in the Middle East. This session explored the complexities of generational handovers, highlighting the importance of governance, leadership structures and resolving family conflicts. The panellists also highlighted the value of younger family members gaining external experience before joining the family enterprise.

During lunch, Ho showcased FOM’s cutting-edge agentic AI platform, designed to navigate global market complexities. Attendees were also introduced to private aviation opportunities by Diana Chou, founder and chairperson of private luxury travel firm L’Voyage, who offered a glimpse into bespoke solutions tailored to the needs of family offices.
