Chef Richard Ekkebus teams up with Jungsik Yim, Cédric Satabin and Yusuke Takada for a one-night culinary showcase at Amber, paired with rare special-release pours from Dom Pérignon
Recognised as a Tatler Best 100 Restaurant in Asia-Pacific and awarded three Michelin stars, Amber at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong proudly announces the grand finale of its #Amberat20 celebration on 16 December 2025.
For this milestone evening, culinary director Richard Ekkebus (Amber, Hong Kong: 3 Michelin Stars; Green Star) welcomes an extraordinary roster: Jungsik Yim of Jungsik (New York: 3 Michelin Stars; Seoul: 2 Michelin Stars), Cédric Satabin of Alain Ducasse at Morpheus, City of Dreams Macau (2 Michelin Stars), and Yusuke Takada of La Cime in Osaka (2 Michelin Stars; No. 8 on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025). Together, they will present an unforgettable anniversary dinner paired with Dom Pérignon, including a special release created to honour Amber’s two-decade milestone.
The Dom Pérignon eight-hands experience
As a member of the Dom Pérignon Society, Ekkebus partners with the Maison to convene an unprecedented eight-hands collaboration for this one-night-only celebration. The menu brings together four of Asia’s most influential culinary voices:
- Jungsik Yim, a pioneer of modern Korean fine dining
- Yusuke Takada, whose work at La Cime channels French technique through a strikingly modern Osaka lens
- Cédric Satabin, custodian of the refined French canon at Alain Ducasse at Morpheus
- Richard Ekkebus, known for contemporary French cuisine shaped by Asian influence and sustainability-driven thinking
Savouring excellence
Dom Pérignon remains one of the world’s most revered Champagne houses, guided by a creative ambition rooted in harmony and emotion. Each Dom Pérignon Vintage is crafted exclusively from grapes harvested in a single year, an exacting challenge that demands singular interpretation and continual reinvention. Its vintages evolve not linearly but through distinct “Plénitudes,” or windows of expression, each revealing new layers of depth and character.
United by a shared pioneering spirit, Ekkebus and his guest chefs will present their own expressions of harmony, exceptional dishes elevated by thoughtful pairings across Dom Pérignon’s rare vintages.
